Responsibilities:Product Development: Assist in the product development lifecycle, from concept creation to product launch, ensuring products align with customer needs and market demand.
Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor products to inform product decisions and strategy.
Product Roadmap: Collaborate with category managers and other stakeholders to develop and execute product roadmaps that align with business goals.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
Customer Feedback: Gather, analyze, and act on customer feedback to continuously improve the product.
Data Analysis: Monitor product performance using key metrics, and assist in adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed product documentation, including feature specifications, new PNs creation, and product roadmaps.
Product Launch Support: Support the coordination and execution of product launches, including marketing initiatives and sales enablement.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on product progress, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure products comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Your Profile:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. An MBA is a plus.
Experience: Fresh graduate or 2+ years of experience in product management, product development, or a related field.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and competitor info and make informed decisions.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and find effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
The position will cover all Japanese truck range products for CV in ASEAN.
Manages product-related workstreams to guarantee timely execution of regional category - and corresponding product lines - strategy deliverables, growth and profitability improvements activities to achieve the regional targets.
Accountable for delivering output of E2E Product Range Development (GDPEP) and Lifecycle Management activities as per OP and SP, for OES and IAM including: channel shift for OE Series conversions, initiating all-makes re-engineering and define product specification in line with market and customer specificities in cooperation with Engineering, in order to deliver defined target product coverage and speed to market, EOP and EOSO process, change management process in IAM and OES.
Represents Aftermarket Swimlane within Serial GDPEP during Application Phase; Timely eBOM compilation and product industrialization including OES range definition based on Customer application.
Drives product line sales in the region. Represents category expertise towards customer base, underwriting the ZF category offering. Identifies regional customer needs, and derives corresponding opportunities to improve SoW. Supports tender opportunities, from range recognition to creation of Business Case together with BL Controlling.
Ensures support by his regional teams towards global and other regional teams for products out of his regional range.
Additional Requirements:Solid experience of J-range products development experience, in OEM, OES or IAM, have extensive product, engineering and go-to-market knowledge and insight of the J-range competition landscape, incl. product specification.
Experience in product management, specification & development processes.
Knowledge of ZF products, footprint, structures and processes.
Strategic and analytic thinking and active execution of Product Strategy targets.
Negotiating, influencing and relationship management skills.
Strong drive for results while developing competences and teams empowerment within AM Organization.
