Four Seasons Resort Langkawi is looking for a Catering Events Manager. The ideal candidate is someone who shares our passion for excellence and who infuses excitement and dedication in serving all our guests. Satisfying our guests depends on the united efforts of many; we are most effective when we work together cooperatively, respecting each other's contribution and importance.Key Responsibilities:Perform daily telephone solicitations to new and existing accounts/customers in defined geographic region.
Develop accounts (new and existing) by mapping specific business and buying tendencies.
Develop creative and attractive menu presentations for potential clients.
Maintain communication/relationship with WSO network for specific assigned region, as well as other FS hotels toward achieving pre-determined revenue goal.
Respond to all emails, telephone, and walk-in inquiries regarding weddings.
Prepare a monthly booking report.
Achieve yearly personal banquet sales revenue goals and assigned MBOs.
Drive room revenue with guest room blocks of over 6 rooms per night.
Be fully versed in all banquet space, facilities, and capabilities of the competitive market.
Maintain an active trace/follow-up system on all inquiries and referrals with a weekly report on the effort.
Coordinate the sales efforts between the sales department and F&B to ensure proper utilization of space to yield maximum revenues.Benefits:
