TheChannel Development Manageris responsible for developing channel strategies and tactics for each retail environment based on shopper and trade expertise. Staying up to date with industry trends and identifying new opportunities for growth and expansion through the company's sales channels. Works closely with the Channel Sales Head in the development of the Channel Strategies.
Responsibilities and Key Activities:
Defining channel strategy and tactics by retail environment.
Developing Channel strategies & plans in line with company AOP objectives and direction.
Monitoring channel performance and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Identifying and evaluating channel distribution potential, and developing plans to maximize channel business opportunities.
Defining and executing Perfect Store (Picture of Success) in the given Channel/Customer focusing on assortment/distribution, shelf layout, position, and promotions.
Ensuring Channel/Customer Management, promotion pricing, and in-store execution guideline compliance according to defined strategies/tactics by retail environment.
Coordinating the planning and execution of channel and account activities and communicating plans to the relevant channel/account/geographic teams and Field Sales force on time and accurately.
Periodically reviewing key SKU/Range distribution, NOS, market share, trade spend & volume within The Channel.
Conducting pre- and post-analysis of channel/customer promotions, highlighting results to define future more profitable plans & developing a library of performance history.
Providing channel demand forecast phasing based on market trends & channel activity.
Coordinating Action Plans among stakeholders in cases of Stock Constraints, and/or tactical reasons, for the Category in the S&OP meetings.
QualificationsCandidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG Commercial (trade marketing/shopper marketing, channel & category marketing) or Distributor management. Possess understanding of channel insights and proven analytical skills in data.
Preferred to have experience in business planning & implementation of Customer/Channel Business Plan & Project Management.
Financial implication and awareness (P&L statement, supply chain reports etc).
Independent & good team player, good communication skills with fluency in English.
Knowledge of information system tools (AC Nielsen & Kantar).#J-18808-Ljbffr
