Responsibilities: Electrical: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment up to 11kV. Ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) regulations and safety standards.Facility Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan for all facilities, including preventive maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs.Team Management: Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, engineers and contractors, ensuring effective allocation of resources, performance management, and training to meet maintenance goals.Facilities Inspection: Regularly conduct inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and compliance with regulations. Take appropriate actions to address any issues found.Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment and systems within the facilities such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems. Coordinate with external vendor and contractors as necessary.Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources, prioritization of projects, and adherence to financial guidelines.Safety and Compliance: Ensure all facilities comply with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards. Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment. Emergency Preparedness: Establish emergency response procedures and plans to address unforeseen events such as power outages, natural disaster, or equipment failure. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure quick resolution and minimal disruption.Sustainability Initiatives: Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainability improvements within the facilities. Implement and promote sustainable practices and technologies.Vendor Management: Collaborate with external contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure time delivery of services, quality workmanship, and adherence to contractual agreements.Perform any other duties as may be required by management.Competencies: Certification : Valid BO Chargeman certificate from Energy Commission of Malaysia.Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, building systems, and regulatory compliance.Familiarity with local building codes, safety standards, and regulations in Malaysia.Ability to work extended hours or weekends depending on demand.Proven experience in facility management, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
