Chef De Partie

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Mamee-Double Decker (M) Sdn Bhd in Ayer Keroh, Melaka. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in the preparation and production of high-quality dishes, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our renowned food manufacturing company.
Overseeing the preparation and cooking of a specific station or section of the kitchen, such as the grill, pasta, or pastry
Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
Coordinating with the Head Chef and other Chefs to ensure the timely delivery of orders
Assisting in the training and supervision of Chefs and other kitchen staff
Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
Participating in menu development and menu item testing
Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient work environment
JOB REQUIREMENTSMinimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
Formal culinary training or qualification, such as a Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent
Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety and hygiene standards
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
Creativity and a passion for producing innovative, delicious dishes
A team-player mentality and strong communication skills
