Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the lab to ensure all testing is smoothly carried out in accordance with the established quality system.
Assist QA/QC Manager in the management of the laboratory and the quality system implementation.
Ensure all laboratory equipment is within calibration, maintained, and checked to provide valid and accurate measurements at all times.
Ensure agreed targets are met, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Undertake additional tasks that may be requested by the QA/QC Manager.
Requirements:
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry or relevant science discipline from a recognised university with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
Preferably have knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 & Good Laboratory Practice.
Able to speak and write fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Computer literate and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good interpersonal communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
Demonstrate a desire to continually learn.
Multitask, self-motivated, and a good team player.
Willing to travel around the operating centres to conduct Internal Audits.
