About the roleAt Sunward Pharmaceutical Sdn Bhd, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemist (Routine) to join our dynamic team in Tampoi, Johor.
This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in chemistry and a passion for ensuring the quality and consistency of our pharmaceutical products.
What you'll be doing
Performing routine chemical analysis and testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
Operating and maintaining analytical instruments such as HPLC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and titrators with a high degree of accuracy and precision
Documenting and interpreting analytical data, and preparing detailed reports on test results
Collaborating with the production team to investigate and troubleshoot any quality-related issues
Adhering to all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines
Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory processes and efficiency
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
2-3 years of experience as a Chemist or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry
Strong practical knowledge of analytical techniques and instrumentation
Proficiency in interpreting and documenting analytical data in a clear and concise manner
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with GMP and other relevant regulatory guidelines
Effective communication and teamwork skills
