Supervising Cashiers:
Managing a team of cashiers, including scheduling shifts, providing training, and ensuring that all cash handling procedures are followed accurately.
Cash Management:
Overseeing all cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and currency exchanges. Ensuring accurate record-keeping and reconciliation of cash drawers at the end of shifts.
Customer Service:
Addressing customer complaints or issues related to cash transactions, refunds, or payment discrepancies.
Security:
Implementing and enforcing security protocols to prevent theft, fraud, and other security breaches. Monitoring cashiers to ensure compliance with these protocols.
Reporting:
Preparing financial reports related to cash operations, including daily cash summaries, discrepancies, and cash flow reports. Reporting to higher management as needed.
Compliance:
Ensuring all cash handling activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML) laws.
Audits:
Conducting regular audits of cash handling processes and resolving any discrepancies found during these audits.
Support Functions:
Assisting with the opening and closing of registers, handling large transactions, and providing change to cashiers as needed.
Training and Development:
Providing ongoing training to cashiers on best practices, new procedures, and changes in policies.
Inventory Management:
In some cases, assisting with inventory management by reconciling sales with inventory and managing cash payments for purchases.

Experience: Minimum 2 years and above, preferably in the retail industry.
