As we continue to grow and strengthen our presence in Malaysia, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and drive the company's success in the Malaysian market.
About the Role The Chief Creative Officer – Malaysia will be responsible for developing and executing Bjak's marketing strategy in Malaysia.
You will lead the efforts to localize our global initiatives and ensure they are aligned with the unique preferences, behaviors, and trends of the Malaysian market.
The role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the intricacies of consumer behavior in Malaysia, as well as the competitive landscape.
We need someone who can take ownership of the brand, drive customer acquisition, and maintain Bjak's position as a leading player in the market.
You should be ready to hit the ground running, with a clear understanding of what it takes to succeed in a rapidly changing industry.
Requirements Market Expertise: You should be an expert in Malaysia's consumer landscape, understanding local trends, cultural nuances, and preferences to create campaigns that resonate with the audience.
Strategic Campaign Execution: You will be responsible for designing and executing integrated marketing strategies, from digital marketing to offline campaigns, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
Digital Proficiency: You should have a deep understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, SEO, content marketing, and performance marketing, and know how to leverage these to drive engagement and conversions.
Brand Stewardship: Be able to effectively position and communicate Bjak's value proposition in Malaysia, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
Data-Driven Mindset: Know how to measure, analyze, and optimize marketing campaigns using data, ensuring that every campaign delivers maximum impact and ROI.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including product, sales, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive and unified approach to marketing.
Agency & Vendor Management: You should have experience managing relationships with agencies, partners, and influencers to amplify campaigns and build brand awareness.
What We're Looking For 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on the Malaysian market.
Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to the Malaysian consumer market.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, including paid media, social media, email marketing, and analytics platforms.
Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to craft engaging content and lead bilingual campaigns.
A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, able to balance big-picture vision with tactical execution.
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to campaign planning and decision-making.
