Job Summary: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the financial strategy, planning, and operations for the Company, ensuring the financial health and sustainable growth of the organization in the property sector. The CFO will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, risk management, and compliance with a focus on optimizing financial performance, maximizing investment opportunities, and enhancing operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy & PlanningDevelop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.Oversee long-term financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting, with specific focus on growth in the property sector.Provide actionable insights to the executive team on financial matters, investments, and resource allocation.Financial Reporting & ComplianceEnsure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and property sector-specific requirements.Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to manage audits and ensure compliance.Risk ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks associated with property investments, development projects, and operational activities.Develop strategies to optimize financial performance and safeguard company assets.Implement controls and financial practices to mitigate risk and promote transparency.Investment & Capital ManagementOversee investment analysis for property acquisition, development projects, and other financial opportunities.Develop capital management strategies, including securing financing and managing banking relationships.Monitor and optimize cash flow to support business operations and strategic investments.Operational Efficiency & Process ImprovementDrive continuous improvements in finance processes, systems, and reporting for better decision-making and efficiency.Support cross-functional collaboration with departments such as Sales, Property Development, and Operations to optimize resource allocation.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead and develop a high-performing finance team by setting clear goals, providing guidance, and supporting professional growth.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the finance department.Stakeholder RelationsServe as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial and strategic matters.Communicate financial performance and key metrics to stakeholders, including the Board of Directors and investors.Ad Hoc Financial AnalysisProvide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives, property projects, and acquisitions.Conduct financial analyses and market assessments to guide the company's business strategy. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.Certification: CPA, CFA, or CMA is highly preferred.Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior management role, preferably in the property sector.Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and accounting software.Knowledge: In-depth understanding of property finance, investment analysis, and financial regulations.Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and build a high-performing finance team.Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.Analytical Skills: Strong strategic and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
