Minimum Qualifications:
Possess professional accounting qualifications such as CIMA, CA, ACCA or equivalent & a member of MIA or Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ related field with vast experiences & exposures.
Experience with IPO listings and knowledge of Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements is a plus, along with familiarity with public-listed companies.
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in audit, finance, accounting & commercial sector with at least 4 years in managerial position preferably in FMCG manufacturing & distribution industry.
Experience in computerized accounting, new system setups & conversant in Microsoft Office applications.
A strong understanding of Malaysian financial regulations, local tax laws, MFRS, and corporate governance practices.
A person of strong analytical and problem-solving skills to plan, structure, coordinate and execute corporate exercises of the Group.
A self-starter highly motivated with excellent interpersonal, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to handle complex financial tasks.
JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations of the cluster and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the key drivers of the business in order to derive clear and succinct analyses of the ongoing business and financial performance of operations.
Oversees the full spectrum of finance duties, including banking & treasury; accounting & reporting; financial planning & analysis; cash flow management, and assisting in business decision-making for all the operating companies within the Group.
Oversee the cash management function, including banking relationships.
Initiates, directs and coordinates the preparation of group financial reporting including consolidation on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.
Liaises with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and other statutory bodies.
To oversee full set of Accounts with month end closing and to produce monthly revenue projection reports.
Initiates, directs and coordinates the preparation of budgets and quarterly forecasts.
Ensuring timely and accurate completion and compliance with all relevant statutory reporting to ensure good corporate governance, on a quarterly basis.
Evaluates the organization's financial and business performance and provides analysis and interpretation of the performance as well as input/recommendations to management.
Ensure effective management of payable, receivable and cash balance.
Lead and act as a key contributor in the development of the annual financial strategic plan and interim forecast updates, support the achievement of the plan.
Provide tactical and strategic consultation to business leaders regarding improved business performance, recommending and initiating change to ensure key business and financial targets are delivered.
Develop and implement Finance policies and procedures, define plans that close current gaps and ensure compliance.
Ensure compliance with and advice on the Group financial accounting policies and procedures.
Acts as the key liaison between the Finance team and the Board of Directors, providing regular financial reports and ensuring that financial concerns are addressed.
Leads and manages the Finance Department by providing guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.
