Chief Marketing Officer
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and innovative marketing practices.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals to enhance brand presence and market share.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and trends; utilize insights to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
Brand Management: Oversee brand development and positioning; ensure consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
Digital Marketing: Drive digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
Customer Engagement: Develop customer engagement strategies to build loyalty and enhance customer experience.
Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and tracking return on investment (ROI).
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives; adjust strategies based on performance data.
Stakeholder Communication: Present marketing plans and performance updates to the executive team and stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Adaptability in a SME / startup environment
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline
Min 2 years of experience in marketing
Deep knowledge of retail and digital marketing
A clear understanding of social media and how to translate strong campaigns across these channels
Good communication skills in both written and spoken Chinese & English
Excellent project, time and people management skills
Keen learner and a team player with a great sense of responsibility, proactive with a positive attitude
Creative thinker with an eye for detail
Able to multi-task with excellent organizational skills and meticulous in work assigned
Able to work under pressure and meet a tight timeline in a fast-paced environment
Proactive team player, responsible, self-driven and organized.
Remuneration Packages:
Basic RM 10,000.00 – RM 13,000.00/month
