Projects Manager (CSA) responsible for the design and construction of civil, structural, and architectural engineering projects, handling preparation of bids and surveys of construction projects.
He / She is responsible for preparing schedules, communicating with clients, and overseeing project progress.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and regularly review engineering processes and resources to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Develop plans for new engineering initiatives, including investigating new technologies and developing plans for new project implementations.
Create and maintain cost estimates for projects and programs.
Conduct reviews of engineering projects to determine their compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and codes.
Analyze and resolve engineering problems and demonstrate effective skills in oral and written communication.
Review specifications and bidding documents, scheduling appointments, and providing engineering advice and support.
Perform structural, hydraulic, and environmental engineering projects, and collaborate with project team members and clients.
Provide civil engineering support for all activities in the project, such as environmental permitting, permitting process development, and preliminary engineering, as well as during construction.
Conduct technical reviews of engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
Design and plan structures, systems, and facilities for new construction or remodeling.
Develop concepts, plans, and layouts for new or existing properties.
Create detailed designs and drawings using CAD software.
Review and analyze blueprints, plans, and layouts to ensure compliance with building codes and ordinances.
Conduct worksite inspections during the designing and building process.
Supervise and direct the work of architects, designers, and drafting personnel.
Manage and delegate day-to-day activities, such as estimating, construction, scheduling, and bidding, for the design of a project.
Develop and update project documents and schedules, including sketches, renderings, scopes of services, permits, and permits.
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships.
Analyze project proposals and contracts and recommend revisions.
Maintain regular communication with clients and subcontractors.
Prepare construction documents, schematics, tables, construction cost estimates, and project.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
Accomplish engineering and organization mission by collaborating with other members of Bridge Data Centres.
Qualifications
Complete a Bachelor Degree in Civil, Structural, and/or Architecture, Engineering Management or any other similar discipline.
Must have knowledge of civil engineering and of architectural design.
Minimum 8 to 10 years working experience in the high-rise construction industry.
Experience in hyper scale datacenter, micro-electronics or other critical infrastructure preferred.
Experience in construction management process during construction stage from mobilization, construction/installation, testing & commissioning to closeout and handover.
Good and effective communication and leadership skills.
Ability to use specialized AutoCAD, software for collaboration and time management, including spreadsheets.
