Claims Analytics, Consultant (Manager Level)

Responsible to find opportunities through insight from data, driving healthcare analytics related initiatives, leverage on BI tools and analytics techniques for actionable insights to Senior Management team to execute business decisions, operation efficiency and cost containment.
This is an individual contributor role and will report to the Senior Manager of the department.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Analytics & InsightsConduct analysis for medical inflation, cost driver and healthcare KPI metrics such as loss ratio, claim severity & frequency.
Apply statistical techniques to identify patterns, trends and anomalies in large and complex datasets related to financial and operation problem statements.
Handle key business and performance metrics, conduct analysis and investigations on results to improve efficiency and opportunities.Business Intelligence & ReportingStreamline and develop self-service BI/Reporting Platforms through automation.
Create and maintain PBI Dashboard/Automated Reports to support stakeholders for data visualization.Projects and Data GovernanceSupport AI/ML and Digitalisation (OCR/EDI) solutions and output, evaluate alternative solutions for operations consumption.
Manage datamart and work with data team to gather relevant data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and quality and continuously strengthening analytics & insights capabilities.Minimum Requirements:
At least 3 years of related working experience in analytic roles or relevant fields.
Experience in Insurance Operations or Healthcare analytics would be a plus.
Exposure to data analytics project lifecycle (data requirement, extraction, exploration, transformation, development, implementation, insights).
Proficient in SQL programming or other database query tools and strong capability with dashboard tools including Power BI and Tableau.
Strong knowledge of data models, mining, segmentation, machine learning techniques and algorithms will be an advantage.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate findings insights to stakeholders and senior management.
