Ltd. ("HLAS") is a licensed insurance company in Singapore since 2012 and a subsidiary of Hong Leong Financial Group Berhad ("HLFG"), a public listed company in Malaysia.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage mainly personal lines claims including travel, maid, medical, home, motor and cyber.
Ensure accurate and prompt claims processing within stipulated turnaround time.
Assess policy liability, compute and determine claims amount payable based on policy cover and in accordance with Company guidelines and claims authority limit.
Handle all claims related phone and email inquiries in accordance with Company procedures.
Study claims history and highlight any abnormalities or repeated complaints to direct reporting manager, Head of Claims and any internal departments on a need-to-know basis.
Cross-collaborate with other departments internally.
Liaise with all stakeholders, including service providers, intermediaries and partners.
Participate and engage in any digital or process improvement projects as assigned by the Company.
Perform any ad-hoc duties when assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in tertiary education.
Bilingual in Chinese and English.
At least 1 year of hands-on claims experience in personal lines preferred.
General Insurance (BCP, PGI, ComGI and HI) certificates would be an additional advantage.
Willing to study and complete General Insurance (BCP, PGI, ComGI and HI) certifications after office hours.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Good analytical and decision-making skills, meticulous with attention to details.
Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and receptive to different working styles and culture.
Customer-oriented, adaptable, excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and also able to take instructions well.
Other Information:
5-day work week (Mon- Fri, 9 am - 6 pm).
