About the Role
Responsible to find opportunities through insight from data, driving healthcare analytics related initiatives, leverage on BI tools and analytics techniques for actionable insights to senior management team to implement business decisions, operation efficiency and cost containment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Performing research and analysis for medical inflation, cost driver and healthcare metrics such as loss ratio, claim severity & frequency.
Apply data visualization tools to communicate findings and insights efficiently to both technical and non-technical collaborators.
Apply statistical techniques to identify patterns, trends and anomalies in large datasets related to financial and operation problem statements.
Work with data team to assemble and preprocess relevant data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and quality and continuously strengthening analytics & insights capabilities.
Able to communicate and present insights efficiently to all levels who require analysis or report to address business issues, able to understand the complexity of healthcare data/critical metrics and translate it into business language to deliver the insights.
Articulate findings insights to collaborators and senior management.
Excellent understanding of data models, mining, segmentation, machine learning techniques and algorithms will be an advantage.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Related working experience in analytic roles or relevant fields. Experience in Insurance Operations or Healthcare analytics would be a plus.
Exposure to data analytics project lifecycle (data requirement, extraction, exploration, transformation, development, implementation, insights).
Proficient in SQL programming or other database query tools and strong capability with dashboard tools including Power BI and Tableau.
