As a Clinical Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons (primarily in the APAC region) in preparing for surgery by utilizing our advanced technologies.
ResponsibilitiesAssist surgeons in preparing for surgery by utilizing our advanced technologies. Upon receiving the medical scan data, you will collaborate with our design engineers to ensure the creation of an accurate 3D model of the patient's anatomy.
Assist surgeons during virtual planning sessions to visualize and understand patient anatomy and plan all necessary surgical steps on the digitized model. Building on the surgical plan, and in collaboration with our design engineers, you will ensure that appropriate patient-specific medical models, surgical guides, and custom implants are designed and manufactured to meet our high-quality standards, enabling the digital plan to become a reality in the operating room.
Serve as the primary contact point for surgeons throughout case processing and after the delivery of the surgical kit, managing client expectations to ensure high-quality service and on-time delivery of our products. This involves establishing and maintaining close working relationships with surgeons and medical professionals and occasionally being present during surgeries and commercial activities.
Raise awareness and provide education to surgeons and other medical professionals on the use of our products.
Work closely with engineers in Materialise offices worldwide, continuously seeking ways to improve our products and services.
A strong focus on medical quality and customer service is essential.
Your ProfileYou have graduated as a biomedical engineer, ideally holding a master's degree.
Training will be provided; a strong interest in the medical field and excellent communication and organizational skills are more important than formal education.
You are accurate, well-organized, and work in a customer-centric manner.
