About the department The Clinical, Medical, and Regulatory (CMR) department is one of the key functions that enable the business strategy through the effective execution of functional goals, in the areas of Clinical Research, Medical Affairs and Regulatory.
The position of Clinical Research Associate is to be located in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, and will report to the Clinical Operations Manager (COM).
The position The CRA role involves leading site management for site selection and initiation.
Other role tasks are as follows, but are not limited to: Conduction and closing activities of the appointed studies in compliance with local regulations, International Conference on Harmonization-Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP), company procedures, and protocol requirements to ensure data quality and study subject protection.
Manage the recruitment at the country/ site level and thereby deliver results that have a direct impact on the successful completion of the clinical program.
Partner with the Project Manager and report on their progress and critical issues that may impair trial success.
Qualifications Degree in Medicine, Biology, Science, Pharmacy, Nursing, or another equivalent.
A minimum of 2 years' solid operational experience in clinical development.
Excellent interpersonal skills and good project management skills to achieve the success of assigned clinical trials.
A good knowledge of ICH-GCP, local requirements, and Novo Nordisk SOPs.
Proactive communication both internally and externally is essential for the successful implementation of the main accountability.
Able to adapt and manage changes in the groups and/ or clinical trials that you are assigned with.
Travel within Malaysia and fluent in English (verbal and written) and Bahasa Malaysia.
