CloudMile is a young start-up team which enables clients to solve most mission-critical
challenges by leveraging top-notch artificial intelligence, cloud and security technologies with
leading vendors in the markets.
As a Cloud Architect – GCP at CloudMile. You will play a strategic role in developing and
coordinating cloud architecture across diverse areas including application development, identity
and access management, network and data management and more. You will need to roll up the
sleeves working with cross-functional teams in Taiwan; management, marketing, cloud engineer,
solution architect, and machine learning engineers to build solutions for our focus markets and
customers.
In partnership with the solution architects to create and formulate a well-informed
cloud strategy and manage the adoption process. Capture and share best-practice knowledge with Google cloud technologies
amongst the field and internal teams. Design, develop, and implement Multi-cloud IT solutions with containerization
technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and service offerings at customer sites-locally,
regionally, and nationally as well as provide feedback for improvement Lead significant production improvements, drive to achieve a high degree of
automation, security, and performance management Respond to deep technical issues in a professional and timely manner Technical degree required; Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information
Technology background desired. Demonstrated experience in architecting, deploying and management of solutions.
Past experience working directly in customer implementations is highly desirable. 3-5+ years' experience designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions such
as infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking. 3+ years of experience with Google cloud platforms and technologies (IaaS and
PaaS). Familiar with microservice architecture and principles of the twelve-factor app. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Past experience writing and
publishing technical white papers. Excellent English communication, meeting facilitation, and listening skills Worked with a proven track record in other leading cloud vendors: AWS, Microsoft
Azure, and AliCloud. Experience migrating or transforming customer solutions to the cloud.
