Proficient with Git or similar development repositories.
Familiarity with database technologies, particularly Azure SQL.
Skilled in instrumentation, monitoring, and alerting.
Conduct in-depth technical analyses of database design and perform root cause investigations.
Gain an understanding of business operations and user needs.
Carry out comprehensive technical analyses of databases, focusing on the design, coding, operation, and support of high-performance, highly available database services.
Show a readiness to take on extra responsibilities to ensure team success and deliver quality solutions.
Actively seek out development opportunities for growth, act as strong brand ambassadors for the firm.
Key Requirements:
Significant experience in managing and maintaining large-scale database infrastructures.
Practical experience with Microsoft Cloud database technologies, including Azure SQL Database and Azure Managed SQL Instance.
Familiarity with tools like Synapse, Data Bricks, and Azure Data Lake Storage V2.
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cosmos DB, and PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of Azure DevOps (CI/CD) and related concepts.
Proven experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator, with a solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server functionality.
Strong grasp of database administration principles, standards, and best practices.
Azure certification or a willingness to obtain Azure certification(s).
