Job Type: Permanent
Location: Klang Valley (TTDI), Penang (Georgetown), JB (JB City Centre)
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days at office, 2 days at home)
Salary range: RM7,000 – RM17,000 per month
Working Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
-Design and implement robust system architectures focused on high availability and scalability.
-Develop automation tools and scripts to streamline operations and minimize manual processes.
-Define, track, and analyze Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to ensure exceptional reliability and performance.
-Conduct thorough post-mortem analyses of incidents to drive continuous improvement.
-Collaborate with development and operations teams to establish best practices in system reliability and incident management.
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database performance, network connectivity, and deployment failures, including platform-level diagnostics (e.g., Kubernetes, VMs).
-Ensure resolution of issues within stipulated Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to maintain high service delivery standards.
-Identify and mitigate performance bottlenecks, providing actionable recommendations for system enhancement.
-Maintain thorough documentation of processes and incident responses for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Specific Requirements:
-Proficiency in Linux, Python, and Bash Scripting.
-Minimum 2 years of experience as an SRE or similar role.
-Mandarin speaking (non-Chinese speakers are welcome to apply).
-Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
-Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, virtual machines, and networking concepts.
-Ability to work in a hybrid environment (3 days office, 2 days WFH).
