Job responsibilities:
Prepare programming for CNC or numerical control machining operations primarily through the application of established and predetermined reference data and procedures.
Develop NC programming in accordance with customer requirements, read blueprints or modify existing programs on different machines when necessary.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize CNC operations.
Develop manufacturing planning including instruction sheets for machine operators and maintain the records
Optimize costs and maximize the quality of planning output to meet product safety and reliability.
Participate in the material review board (MRB) in validating non-conformance, resolving issues and delays in production with a multifunctional team.
Ensure the manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations.
Provide technical training to the production and production support team.
Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, machine settings, and production output.
Prepare reports on machine performance, production metrics, and quality outcomes.
Job requirements:
Good command of writing and speaking in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Minimum 2 years experience in programming. Candidates with hands-on experience with CNC Milling and Turning, Sheet metal operations are preferred.
Proficient in programming software and knowledgeable in operating Mastercam & AutoCAD. Knowledge of materials and tooling used in CNC machining. Knowledge of GD&T demonstrated.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication skills for remote collaboration.#J-18808-Ljbffr
