As a manufacturing specialist milling, you will be responsible for production part output quality, setup of machines including troubleshooting, and making adjustments for tool compensation when needed.
Ensure daily output meets the planner schedule.
Your Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Operate milling machines, Fastems, and deburring stations according to SOP.
Work with Okuma, Makino, or DMG machines.
Perform maintenance and calibration on equipment, gauges, and torque wrenches according to schedule.
Buyoff and maintain jigs and fixtures and submit reports if wear and tear or broken.
Perform machine autonomous maintenance.
Measure and refill coolant pH & concentration.
Handle hydraulic and spindle oil.
Perform tool changes.
Load and unload parts at the Milling Fastems station as per work instructions.
Conduct visual inspections and in-process buyoff during load and unload as per work instructions.
Access parts drawings and CMM reports.
Transfer parts according to the correct process flow.
Perform 6S activities.
Buyoff and clear chip tanks.
Perform equipment buyoff and maintenance according to checklist and schedule.
Setup and handle equipment and parts according to SOP.
Ensure accurate data entry and timely updates in D365 (Part confirmation).
