Job Description
Team and Role Introduction:
Finance Business Partner - Regional Role
Responsibilities:
Business Partnering:
- Drive monthly BU P&L dialogue with Regional BU leaders and Country BU FBP across 6 SEA countries.
- Partner with Regional BU leaders in driving business growth and co-create value for the business.
- Provide insightful, timely and value-added input on key financial topics.
- Work across locations and if needed functionality to ensure that plans are integrated.
Financial Planning & Reporting:
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the BU across the region.
- Understand key business drivers, identifying trends, areas of opportunity and provide recommendations/solutions for both topline and bottom line improvement.
- Produce robust forecasts that achieve business objectives.
- Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, forecasts and actual for SEA region.
- Partner with Regional Finance Controllership team on P&L and B/S management.
Project and Business Case:
- Partner Regional BU management on specific BU projects (e.g. top line & bottom line improvement, process improvement, system design).
- Drive process simplification and improvement initiatives (e.g. automation, streamlining).
- Any other ad-hoc function assigned by the Management.
Job Requirements
Requirements/Qualifications (must have):
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
Minimum 7-8 years in financial planning, analysis or finance business partner, preferably with a background in the logistics industry.
Strategic thinking, analytical & problem-solving skills.
Good communication and influencing skills.
Good command of English both spoken and written.
Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
Competent user of Microsoft Office specifically Excel.
SQL skill (not mandatory), as an added advantage.
