Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities.
That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to: Network Analysis: Assist to analyze interline networks, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for route expansion or adjustments.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement a comprehensive network plan aligned with the airline's strategic objectives.
Negotiate and establish interline agreements with partner airlines, defining terms, conditions, and operational procedures.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements in the development and execution of interline agreements.
Partnership Development: Identify and evaluate potential interline partners based on strategic fit, market opportunities, and mutual benefits.
Lead negotiations for major interline agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the airline.
Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential new airlines/markets, assess demand, and evaluate the feasibility of entering specific routes.
Stay informed about airline network changes and other factors that may impact route decisions.
System & Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses, including revenue forecasting, cost projections, and profitability assessments for all interline segments including developing dashboards Promote automations in the pricing and scheduling in the system for sales /commercial to push for sales.
Requirements SKILLS & EXPERIENCE These are minimum-requirement skills and a 'must-have' for the role: (If any, otherwise you can skip) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Aviation Management, or a related field.
Extensive experience in airline operations, partnerships, or related roles.
Proven track record of successful negotiation and management of interline agreements.
Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
In-depth knowledge of international aviation regulations and industry best practices.
Analytical mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
