TheCommercial Leader, Malaysiafor Leica Biosystems is responsible for driving significant revenue and profit growth through effective management of sales & applications activities in Malaysia. S/he is expected to meet or exceed revenue goals by executing sales initiatives in alignment with regional marketing strategy. This position is part of the Sales Team located in Malaysia.
You will be a part of the Commercial Sales Team and report to the General Manager, Diagnostics, Malaysia responsible for delivering the country revenue target and to meet the company financial goals.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead and achieve the total sales and margin targets for LBS Malaysia across all Leica Biosystems product groups.
Lead a team of sales and application to drive country strategies.
Drive market leads and convert them to sales opportunities, partnering with regional marketing leads to develop sufficient funnel and managing quality funnel and hygiene.
Develop & execute LBS strategy in-country in partnership with service, marketing / commercial operation/ product management team.
Identify KOL (Key Opinion Leader)s for each market and manage relationships to drive commercial opportunities and pricing to enhance LBS's position in the market.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in sales, distributor management, sales management, and/or marketing roles in Malaysia.
Experience in regional healthcare environment desired; demonstrated track record building relationships with distributors and partners.
Strong communication skills in English.
Proven leadership skills; strong leadership style that creates a team environment to achieve results.
Strong business acumen.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Solid understanding of selling in diagnostics, in particular histopathology.
Demonstrated functional experience in areas such as strategic selling.
