As aCommercial Strategy & PlanningAnalyst,you will be engaging in strategic functions responsible for steering the direction of the company, identifying external trends while optimizing internal capabilities, as well as managing or supporting top-of-agenda, high-impact projects that will meaningfully impact the company.
A high degree of autonomy will be granted for what will be a highly visible leadership role.
You will most likely be at the centre of a diverse ecosystem made up of internal and external stakeholders, so you'll need to bring your A-game when it comes to communication and stakeholder management skills.

Get To Know the Role
Reporting directly to the Group Head of Business Development, this is how your day-to-day activities look like:
Develop and/or update the company's strategies on a periodic cadence, including identifying and prioritizing major cross-functional initiatives by synthesizing:
(i) internal business performance and competencies, and
(ii) external trends (market, customer, competitor, regulatory, technological etc).
Support Sales planning for the BD team, drive productivity matrix, look for opportunities of growth, syndicate data resources to build pipeline for BD team for securing SME loans.
Bridge business opportunities with product development via a keen grasp of the business imperatives and a clear understanding of the possibilities and/ or limitations of technology
Influence a high-performance company culture by challenging critical business assumptions and encouraging cross-functional collaboration.
Support and/ or occasionally drive mid-to-long-term strategic projects that have high uncertainty, long development timeline, and high potential long-term payoff.
Drive business insights & commercial excellence e.g., Business Planning, Management Papers & Updates etc.
Manage and lead external stakeholders for partnership discussions.
Experiences We Look For
3+ years of experience in a top-tier strategy or management consultancy firm.
Strong background in strategic thinking, demonstrated ability to tackle unstructured problems or 'blank-sheet' assignments with sophisticated problem-solving skills.
Expertise with quantitative analysis e.g., financial modelling, data manipulation, business case, data visualization etc.
Experience in initiating & engaging strategic partnerships – concept to execution, prior experience in financial services/banking/fintech would be an advantage.
Proven effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convince executive presence when presenting, pitching, and negotiating.
Honed ability to adapt from a big-picture thinker to one who is also detail-oriented.
Strong track record of project managing complex, cross-functional projects while utilizing strong interpersonal / influencing skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
