This is a good opportunity for a proven leader to manage and develop the business, sales and marketing team, as well as growth strategies for the Food Security Division within a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead, manage and develop the sales and marketing team, as well as growth strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
Identify key market opportunities and develop strategic marketing plans and distribution channels to increase market shares and revenue.
Design, implement and monitor sales and marketing plans to ensure smooth operations and the achievement of set targets.
Develop and execute integrated, value-added customer and market specific business/brand strategies and study consumer insights to drive product development and enhance product visibility.
Manage customer relationships and grow a profitable portfolio of customers.
Analyse sales data, consumer trends and competitor data recommending effective sales, marketing and pricing strategies to maximize product profitability.
Communicate effectively and collaborate with the production team to ensure optimal performance.
Provide technical and administrative support to the sales and marketing team.
Understand and ensure adherence to the relevant food safety regulations and standards applicable in Malaysia and the targeted market.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Studies, Economics, Food Science or a related field.
A minimum of 4 to 5 years relevant working experience in sales and marketing development and strategy, or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
Results-driven, with a focus on supporting the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Self-motivated and proactive, demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently as well as part of a team in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Computer literate; knowledge of relevant sales intelligence tools is an added advantage.
Possess own transport and be willing to travel locally and overseas.#J-18808-Ljbffr
