Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients such as chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and measuring ingredients for recipes.Ensure food is prepared in line with the kitchen's standards and procedures.Cooking Support: Assist in cooking, baking, and grilling tasks as directed by the senior chefs.Follow recipes and guidelines to prepare specific dishes.Hygiene and Safety: Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, ensuring cleanliness and organization.Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the safe preparation and storage of food.Stock Management: Assist in the monitoring and managing of kitchen supplies.Report any stock shortages or issues to the senior chefs.Learning and Development: Work closely with senior chefs to improve skills and knowledge in cooking techniques, presentation, and food safety.Be willing to learn and adapt to new kitchen practices.Assisting with Service: Assist in the timely and efficient service of food during busy periods.Plate dishes according to the kitchen's presentation standards.Requirements: Basic culinary training or a willingness to learn.Strong interest in food preparation and cooking.Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
