The Communications Manager Asia will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies to support Allianz's business objectives in the Asia region. This role will involve working closely with various stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure consistent and effective communication both internally and externally. The Communications Manager will also play a key role in managing crisis communication and reputation management efforts**Key Responsibilities**- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for Asia, aligned with the company's overall business objectives.- Manage media relations, including developing and maintaining relationships with key journalists and influencers across the region.- Oversee all aspects of press releases, media pitches, and crisis communication.- Create high-quality content for various channels, including press releases, website copy, social media content, and internal communications.- Manage and monitor social media channels, developing and implementing an engaging social media strategy for the Asian market.- Track and measure the effectiveness of communication campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.- Stay up-to-date on the latest communication trends and industry best practices in Asia.- Work collaboratively with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure consistent messaging across the organization.- Potential for travel throughout Asia to attend industry events and meet with stakeholders.**Key Requirements/Skills/Experiences**- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a communications role, preferably in an international or Asian market- Strong understanding of communication theories and best practices- Excellent writing and editing skills in English. Fluency in an additional Asian language is a plus- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful communication campaigns- Experience with media relations, including press releases, media pitching, and media interviews- Experience in content creation for a variety of channels, including social media- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent organizational and time management skills- The ability to work independently and as part of a team- Cultural sensitivity and understanding of the Asian marketAllianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
