What we're looking for: 3+ years of experience in a corporate secretarial role, preferably within a professional services firmStrong knowledge of Malaysian company law and corporate governance requirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa MalaysiaHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesA proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solvingPositive, reliable, well organised and able to maintain confidentialityPossess a high degree of professionalism and integrity, ability to communicate with various levels of managementGood communication and interpersonal skillsGood attention to detail, good planning, organizing, and coordinating skillsA good team player and be able to manage your portfolios. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the company secretarial matters for all companies within the group.Responsible statutory and regulatory compliance on company secretarial matters.Responsible for organizing meetings which includes Board / Management meetings which includes the reports, resolutions, dissemination of notices, agenda and minutes of meetings, etc.Drafting minutes for Management meetings and following up on matters arising.To ensure that all the secretarial records are properly maintained and complies with all requirements under the Companies Act 1965.Ensure that the interests of the board members are well-protected.Ensure that any change which the business undergoes must be duly completed in accordance with the prescribed forms within the required time frame.Any other activities relevant to the above or as may be instructed by the management from time to time.
