About The Role As a Compensation Specialist in our brand new Regional Hub / Shared Services Centre (SSC) in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur, you will have the opportunity to play a role in in researching, analyzing, and developing modifications to compensation and benefits programs to meet identified organization objectives and needs. This is an experienced specialist. Makes judgments and takes actions that may set precedents. Evaluates and makes recommendations for major changes in organizational programs.
Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to: Analyses costs and competitive trends in cash compensation and benefits programs and identifies the organization's position Prepares data and participates in surveys and in reviews of data Develops administrative procedures to monitor and reduce costs and improve delivery of programs Oversees administration of programs and maintenance of required records Documents and evaluates positions up through middle management Advises managers on individual salary treatment and employees on interpretation of plan provisions Participates in development of compensation and benefits policy Prepares employee communications materials Support Workday Compensation module implementation Scope: Global, Emphasis on policy / process advisory role up to middle management In this role you will be collaborating with various stakeholders across the business including our Global functions teams in Netherlands & other parts of the world.
Our Regional Hub supports a hybrid working approach. You will be supporting markets in multiple time zones and some flexibility around working hours will be needed.
You will be joining a newly formed Shared Services Centre team, with opportunities to grow, within Compensation & Benefits or wider HR functions.
About You To be successful in this role you will have: More than 5 years of relevant working experience in Compensation and Benefits from multinational environment Strong knowledge of Compensation principles, practices and market trends Solid understanding on Benefits programs Proficient in data analysis and interpretation Experience in job evaluation, salary benchmarking and annual salary review processes Good communication skills with excellent English knowledge both speaking and writing Strong attention to details, with analytical thinking Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel Nice To Have Experience with Workday is a plus Language Good written and spoken English is essential A proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean and/or Thai as well as other Asian languages will be an added advantage, however not mandatory Qualification / Education Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources / Economics or relevant discipline What We Offer We care about ecology and are truly sustainable.
