ResponsibilitiesAnalyses and evaluates current company systems, structures, procedure & policies, and SOP.
Discusses current systems with the Management and observes systems and structures at all levels of the organisation.
Directs the Company towards more efficient organisation and develops solutions to organisational problems.
Actively develop, enhance, implement and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
Ensure alignment of company policies and procedures with CDB policies and procedures.
Undertakes and reviews work studies by analysing existing and proposed methods and procedures such as administrative and clerical procedures.
Records and analyses organisation's work flow charts, records, reports, manuals and job descriptions.
Prepares and recommends proposals to revise methods and procedures, alter work flows, redefine job functions and resolve organisational problems.
Assists in implementing approved recommendations, issues revised instructions and procedure manuals, and drafts other documentation.
Reviews operating procedures and advises of departures from procedures and standards.
Review, manage and monitor ISO certification and process.
To review and evaluate that risk management, internal control system and corporate governance process of the group of companies are adequate and effective.
Review the reliability and integrity of operating information.
To identify the risks and internal controls improvement, report on risks identified and effectiveness of the mitigation controls and propose recommendations to management for further improvement.
Conduct internal investigations if requested by Management or authorized persons.
Keep up-to-date with regulatory development and application to business operations.
Facilitate compliance awareness activities and trainings relating to operational compliance within the Company via various methods and programs.
Provide regular training to the employees to raise awareness on compliance-related matters.
Provide advisory to the Company on compliance-related requirements/issues in their day-to-day operations, as and when required.
Undertake other job functions (Ad-Hoc) as and when assigned from time to time.
Perform any other related assignments as and when required.
Job RequirementsCandidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Internal Audit / Business Management or equivalent.
At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Possess internal audit and/or risk management experiences.
Well versed in ISO 9001.
Excellent Communication & Collaboration – both verbal and written.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good report writing.
Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management.
Independent, analytical and critical thinking in problem-solving approaches.
Positive work attitude and willing to take challenges.
Good time management and planning.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Able to work independently and work in a team.
