Purpose Statement:This role is a hybrid of clerical and technical work, ensuring the smooth implementation of changes and deviations in the manufacturing process. They track and implement these changes, help with product containment, problem solving, and cost estimation, and ensure the changes are executed successfully. They also provide general support to the process engineering team to meet departmental and customer needs.
Key Job Accountabilities:
Executes Manufacturing solutions and provides services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements, applying process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes, or production as it applies to their role.
Demonstrates a basic, discipline-specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus Manufacturing processes, Product Requirements & Specifications as it applies to their role.
Successfully executes responsibilities under supervision in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' Manufacturing Processes and provides support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
Basic understanding of Equipment, Process control, Safety, Risk Awareness, setup awareness, and operation of, as it applies to their role.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
A minimum of a High School diploma is required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
