Job Description
* Plan, develop and implement project management activities, monitor the adherence to project specifications, project Quality standards, Stakeholders/Regulatory requirements & policies including international codes & standards.
* Monitor and verify the compliance to project scope and analyze the trending against project performance (scope, quality, schedule, cost).
* Trigger early intervention based on project performance analysis, minimize potential cost impact and maximize value creation.
* Monitor the project deviation / variation orders and prevent project cost exposure due to change/variation orders.
* Evaluate project issues and proposed issue resolutions.
* Assist Project Manager / Lead to secure approval for key critical Project Management documentation.
Requirements
* Minimum Degree in Engineering discipline (Chemical, Process of Mechanical Engineering)
* Registered with CIDB, BEM and PMP accreditation (added value, optional)
* Holds Lifting certification and PMI certification
* Minimum 7 years of working experience in oil & gas industry with at least 5 years' experience as Project Engineer for Brownfield and Greenfield project.
* Additional experience: Experience in Turnaround Management, Shutdown activities and Construction Management.
* Have experience at least involved in one (1) complete cycle of COMPANY Brownfield or Greenfield project.
* Well versed in Primavera or Microsoft project
* Experience in various aspects of offshore/onshore engineering i.e.
conceptual design, Front End and detailed design, procurement processes and tendering, construction and commissioning activities.
* Experience as a Lifting engineer would be an added advantage.
* Knowledge of COMPANY Project Management System (PPMS) and COMPANY Approving Authorities (AA).
* Knowledgeable in various aspects of engineering, procurement and tendering processes, construction and commissioning activities.
* Familiar with relevant government regulatory, and technical specs requirements e.g.
PTS, ASME etc.
* Execute and facilitate the collaborative efforts in self-organizing self-functional teams during various project phases which consist of Front-End Engineering works, detail engineering, procurement, fabrication/construction, installation, commissioning, start-up and hand over to Operation, with full compliance to project specifications, standard & guidelines and relevant statutory requirements in order to effectively deliver projects and meet projects and business objectives.
