Construction Manager

What you'll be doing Effectively plan, coordinate and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completionLiaise with clients, architects, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standardsMonitor and control construction costs, schedule and quality, implementing corrective actions as neededSupervise and coordinate the work of construction crews, subcontractors and suppliersEnsure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations and company policiesProduce detailed progress reports and communicate effectively with the management teamIdentify and address potential risks, issues and challenges that may arise during projectsContribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and proceduresWhat we're looking for Proven track record of at least 5 years' experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role within the construction industryExcellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneouslyStrong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codesProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings and specificationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, contractors and the project teamAbility to work under pressure, meet deadlines and make critical decisionsDegree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related fieldRegistration as a Professional Engineer or Chartered Builder is highly desirable
