What you will do:
Overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project.
Ensure the allocated gross margin (%GM) is achieved or improved by fully optimizing project resources.
Project revenue and cost planning.
Project scheduling.
Project organization including sub-contractor selection and evaluation.
Identify and implement mitigation and contingency plans to ensure that the project is not derailed at any point.
Implement safety measures to ensure all work is done safely.
How you will do it:
Prepare and submit shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
Coordinate project procurement sourcing based on best price practices. Liaise with clients, consultants, and main contractors to build goodwill.
Resolve project-related issues including technical and commercial issues based on tender/project scope of work.
Supervise project progress, manage timely project claims and cost controls.
Build project margin improvement plans and opportunities including V.O opportunities.
Perform monthly project performance analysis with engineers for project progress and action plans.
Continuous personal improvement plan and training for engineers.
What we look for:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Preferably 6 years working experience in fire protection & fire suppression industries and in project management.
Strong communication skills; ability to present information clearly and achieve understanding and agreement with customers, contractors, and other departments.
