We are seeking an experienced Sales Training Consultant to lead our sales enablement program for our B2B software company in the telecommunications industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive training programs that equip our sales team with the skills, knowledge, and tools to effectively sell our solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop a tailored sales training curriculum that aligns with our new go-to-market strategy and product offerings.
Create engaging training materials, including presentations, handouts, and interactive exercises.
Conduct in-depth training sessions on new sales collateral, including sales decks, playbooks, and battle cards.
Teach best practices for effectively communicating our value propositions and addressing customer pain points.
Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions as needed.
Develop realistic sales scenarios that reflect common customer interactions and objections in the telecommunications industry.
Conduct role-playing exercises to help sales team members practice and refine their selling techniques.
Provide constructive feedback and coaching during scenario-based training sessions.
Implement assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of the training program and individual sales performance.
Analyze training results and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Offer post-training support and coaching to reinforce learning and address any challenges faced by the sales team.
Collaborate with sales managers to identify areas for additional training or skill development.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Education, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales training, preferably in the B2B technology or telecommunications sector.
Proven track record of developing and delivering successful sales training programs.
In-depth understanding of B2B sales methodologies and best practices.
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate adult learners.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with sales professionals at all levels.
