As a Sustainability and Climate Change Consultant at Aurecon, you will help our clients develop and implement sustainable and responsible business strategies while reducing their environmental impact.In this hybrid full-time role, you will be based in Petaling Jaya with flexibility to work remotely.Your day-to-day tasks will include potential client liaison, expanding client network, analysing data, conducting research, creating reports, and providing advice to clients on embedding sustainability into their business operations.We know today's complex challenges can only be solved through bringing together diverse teams of people from across our business, so there will be opportunities for you to apply your skills and creativity to projects in other geographies and markets.What can you bring to the team?

You will also need the following :
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or related fieldMinimum of 3-5 years' experience in sustainability consulting or related fieldExperience working with clients in a variety of industries to develop and implement sustainability strategies and recommendationsStrong understanding of sustainability frameworks, policies, certifications and environmental regulations (international and local)Proficiency in data analysis and modelling, GHG inventory, Climate Scenario Analysis and Forecast, Decarbonisation as well as experience with sustainability reporting and data visualization toolsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate sustainability concepts and ideas to clients and stakeholdersExperience with project management and working in cross-functional teamsProfessional certification in sustainability such as GRI, ISSB or GARP is preferred but not compulsoryExperience in oil and gas, energy sectors is an added advantageFluency in English is required, and fluency in Bahasa Malaysia is preferredOnly Malaysian citizens or Malaysian work permit holders need to apply#J-18808-Ljbffr
