**Job Description:**

MISC Berhad is seeking a passionate and dedicated Contact Center Assistant to join our team in George Town, Penang. This part-time position is ideal for individuals looking to combine their communication expertise with administrative skills in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service and support for our clients and partners.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Customer Interaction:** Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing accurate and timely information and resolving issues effectively.
- **Documentation and Follow-Up:** Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and inquiries in our CRM system, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up on unresolved matters.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with various departments, including sales, billing, and logistics, to gather information and provide customers with comprehensive answers to their inquiries.
- **Problem-Solving:** Identify customer needs and tailor responses to meet those needs, escalating issues to supervisors when necessary while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- **Feedback Collection:** Gather and document customer feedback to assist in identifying trends and areas for service improvement, contributing to the overall enhancement of our services.
- **Quality Assurance:** Uphold high standards of service quality and strive for excellence in all endeavors while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
- **Scheduling and Planning:** Assist in scheduling appointments, resolving conflicts, and organizing follow-up correspondence to ensure seamless communication with customers.
- **Team Participation:** Engage in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve personal performance and contribute to team success.

**Requirements:**

- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in customer service or business administration are a plus.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years in a customer service role, preferably within a contact center or similar environment.
- **Personality Traits:**
- Independent: Ability to work autonomously while managing time and responsibilities efficiently.
- Energetic: A positive, enthusiastic attitude that contributes to a motivating work environment.
- **Soft Skills:**
- **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- **Planning:** Strong organizational and planning skills to manage responsibilities and meet deadlines effectively.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- **Language Proficiency:** Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a distinct advantage.
