Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies) to produce SEO-friendly content.
Write clear marketing or educational copy to promote our products/services.
Create scripts and storyboards for videos.
Prepare well-structured drafts.
Proofread and edit blog posts before publication.
Post content to social media channels.
Translate blog posts to Bahasa Malaysia and/or Chinese.
Submit work to the content manager for input/feedback and approval.
Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles and develop content for advertising campaigns.
Conduct keyword research and use SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
Create compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
Gather data for analysis.
Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone).
Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies.
Other administrative work assigned by the manager or management.
Job RequirementsExcellent writing and speaking skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
Bachelor's degree in communications, law, marketing, English, journalism, or a related field.
Prior work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with web publications and multiple social media channels: FB, IG, TikTok, YouTube.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and fast-growing company.
The ability to handle multiple projects and deliverables concurrently.
