This is a mid-level position for candidates that have prior working experience in social media agencies or editorial positions. You MUST be competent in content production for social media platforms and websites (Tik Tok, live-streaming, photography, videography) and have a strong portfolio of work to show for it.
The role requires you to be digitally savvy, experienced in project management, and a strategic mind to understand business goals so that you can plan, develop and deliver content that would meet the brand's objectives. You are able to leverage on data insights to strategise for lead generation, recommend social media post formats for engagement and link clicks, and develop overall creative strategies for impactful campaigns. Most importantly, you have a good command of the English language (spoken and written).
This role will report to the brand's Head of Partnerships and Community and Malaysia Country Director. You will be expected to lead the brand's Content Marketing on its social media and blogs.
Responsibilities: Lead content production for social media (copywriting, storyboarding, scripting, shooting, styling) Exhaustive research to gain in-depth knowledge of industry/topics Strategizing content pillars and sub-pillars Planning the editorial and content calendar Oversee and set guidelines on the writing style and tone for content on brand's platforms Ideate, write, direct and develop original and iconic content for the purposes of content marketing Keep current with latest industry trends on home appliances and electronic goods and developments in the area of social media Able to both produce and also manage all forms of content development including articles, social media posts, and video content 2-5 years of experience in editorial or content development Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
