You will provide professional support to inbound & outbound assignee, compensation, income tax, employee welfare and benefit services in a timely and efficient manner according to the Malaysian and Global People & Culture Policies. The incumbent will also be responsible to provide efficient and effective HR services to support the P&C team. This will be a one (1) year contract-based role and employment will be under a 3rd-party provider. As the Contract People & Culture Associate for JTI Malaysia, you will:
Coordinate and follow up on International Assignee (IA) & Short-Term Assignee (STA) work permit and dependent passes; ensuring compliance to all local legal requirements and IA Policies and Procedures. You will play a key support role in managing the process of IA/STA orientation, house hunting, school search and other relocation matters (i.e. shipment) with relocation consultant.Be responsible to coordinate IA & STA tax management with the tax consultant and ensure that the remuneration computation and data are provided completely and payment to Inland Revenue Department (IRB) are done accordingly before the due date.Prepare and process monthly International Assignee's (IA) host spendable payments. Ensure all pertinent to payroll information is captured and updated accordingly prior to payroll processing. Prepare IA's cross charges statement on a monthly basis and work closely with Finance Dept. in ensuring cross charges data are captured in a timely and accurate manner. Administrate and manage STA payments according to the policies & procedures.Support & manage IA & STA' benefits including child education, annual leave, club membership, home leave, etc as per the local Malaysian and Global P&C policies. Ensure IA's benefits related payments are processed timely in accordance to the Global Indirect Procurement (GIP) requirements. Be a custodian of SAP System for IA's & STA's to ensure employees information is updated and maintained in a timely and accurate manner. Responsible to keep confidentiality of employee information particularly compensation information.Provide assistance to the People & Culture (P&C) team in any other assignments as and when required. Requirements: Degree in Human Resources or related business degreeMinimum 5 years of working experience in Human Resource function preferably in multinational company.Knowledge and experience with SAP Success Factors.Experience in handling inbound / outbound stakeholders / assignees and compensation cycle management.Good understanding of local labor legislation. Detail-oriented, analytically inclined, critical thinking and problem solving skills.Substantial experience working with diverse leaders. Working in a matrix and multi-cultural environment. Able to build a trustful and engaging relationship with all levels.Effective and professional verbal & written communication skills.
