Control & Instrumentation Engineer (Executive Level)The Control and Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer is responsible to manage and supervise maintenance tasks on Control and Instrumentation Section at the Waste-to-Energy (WtE) and Waste Segregation Facility (WSF) and common areas in a safe and efficient manner within safety and environmental constraints and design parameters.
Responsibilities
Manage and supervise maintenance activities within the scope of Control and Instrumentation Section in accordance to maintenance procedure and by the most cost efficient means.
Maintain Control and Instrumentation Section records.
Solve recurring and outstanding problems related to the plant systems or equipment to improve plant performance.
Provide maintenance engineering support, solutions, and execution to improve plant performance.
Develop and review preventive and predictive maintenance task lists and maintenance schedules to maintain equipment integrity.
Ensure safekeeping and safe handling of tools and equipment and maintain its register and inventory.
Liaise with other Sections during coordination of maintenance activities, if applicable.
Manage a team of contractors in maintaining the Control and Instrumentation equipment.
Coordinate Control and Instrumentation Outage Tasks, which include tasks scheduling, manpower requirement, manpower arrangement, liaison with contractors, and report writing.
Prepare monthly Maintenance and Engineering Technical Report and Corrective Action Report for each Incident Report issued by Operation Section.
Initiate changes and additions to Control and Instrumentation Maintenance Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Control Measure (HIRAC), Work Instructions, and Work Procedures.
Monitor and optimise spare parts and consumables holdings for the area of responsibility.
Prepare technical specifications for external work supply and review tenders.
Develop and manage maintenance contracts for outsourcing services and resources.
Assist Head of Maintenance in developing an effective annual budget for Control and Instrumentation Section.
Train and develop Control and Instrumentation Maintenance Technicians.
Adapt QHSE procedures when carrying out maintenance activities.
Maintain a high safety and quality conscious working environment and ensure compliance with all QHSE and legislative Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.
Requirements
Degree in Control and Instrumentation Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in the maintenance of Thermal Power Plants.
A detailed knowledge of engineering practices, functions, and processes involved in power plant operation and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of standard operating policies and procedures.
Good verbal and written communication skills in BM and English.
Good time management, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills.
