As we continue to revolutionize the way construction projects are planned, managed, and executed, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Site Logistics Coordinator to join our diverse and inclusive team.
This role will play a crucial part in ensuring a safe and efficient work site.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
College/university/professional degree in Electrical, Industrial, Process Engineering, or related work experience.
5+ years of technical engineering experience with industrial or commercial field engineering in mission critical facilities and electrical infrastructures OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) of technical engineering experience.
Fundamental understanding of some global and the National Electrical Code.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Process Engineering.
10+ years of construction experience on multi-group, multi-disciplinary projects; mission critical facility experience.
Experience in the Control of Hazardous Energy in complex mission critical infrastructure.
Construction training - OSHA 30.
NFPA 70E training - Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace.
Strong experience related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and installations with an emphasis on building electrical systems.
Practical experience with building management systems and automation, controls & frameworks.
Established understanding of electrical theory and practical application via your maintenance & operation of critical electrical equipment.
Knowledge of construction techniques, terminology, and documentation.
Ability to interpret line drawings and system redundancies to ensure design of LOTO systems is 100% effective and in compliance with Microsoft standards.
Knowledgeable in major regulations, industry codes and standards as well as construction materials, means, and methods.
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical solutions and concepts to engineers and non-engineers.
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
ResponsibilitiesThe Energy Marshal is an assurance role that helps ensure the vendors' and contractors' Energy Isolation Program meets or exceeds any Microsoft safety policy requirements and is stood up by the Authorizing Energy Marshal.
As a successful Datacenter Construction Development (DCD) Controlling Energy Marshal (CEM), you oversee and assure the Authorizing Energy Marshal (AEM) and any supplemental vendor support complies with the overall Energy Isolation Program Management on a datacenter construction campus.
You will be accountable to ensure all activities related to the energy isolation process is coordinated and executed across the assigned location(s) according to established policies and procedures.
Your understanding of the design and functionality of the DCD in support of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) infrastructure while acting as the technical authority for on-site operations related to a large-scale mission critical MEP system, design, and functionality is critical to success.
Acts as the single point of accountability for all Energy Isolation activities across the project.
Utilize SPS-101 Energy Isolation SPS and SPS-101 Energy Isolation Guidebook as the baseline and foundation of the Energy Isolation Program.
Oversees and assures the overall compliance of Microsoft's Energy Isolation Program.
Ensure safe working conditions have been established by reviewing documentation and auditing the energy program for construction, commissioning, maintenance, and operations activities.
Participate in High-Risk Activity (HRA) planning meetings associated with Energy Isolation.
Promote a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspects of Data Center activities.
