Job Description:
CONVEYANCING LAWYER (PJ)Able to draft sub-sale Sale and Purchase Agreements independently and handle files from commencement until the handover of vacant possession/legal possession.
Familiar with banking documentation.
Expected to liaise with clients (including banks) and government authorities, such as the Registrar of Titles, Stamp Office, LHDN, etc.
Prepare legal opinions and provide legal advice on all aspects of sale and purchase transactions and loan drawdowns.
Draft correspondences and legal instruments/documents for developers, banks, and third parties.
Address legal issues related to residential and commercial projects.
Handle and attend signings of Sale and Purchase Agreements and Loan Documentation.
Conduct thorough legal research.
CONVEYANCING CLERK (PJ)Able to work independently on sub-sale loan and SPA documentation.
Possess at least 3–4 years of experience in handling sub-sale conveyancing files.
Expected to liaise with clients (including banks) and government authorities, such as the Registrar of Titles, Stamp Office, LHDN, etc.
Experienced in managing conveyancing matters related to retail, project, or commercial loan and SPA documentation with minimal supervision.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is a must.
PUPILLAGE (PJ)Assist the Master and lawyers with corporate and conveyancing matters.
Support partners and legal associates in various areas of practice.
Conduct research on points of law and draft legal documents.
Qualifications and Requirements:
CONVEYANCING LAWYERHolds an LLB degree.
Able to handle SPA and loan files for sub-sales.
Dedicated and responsible in their role.
Fluent in written and spoken Malay and English.
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Capable of meeting deadlines.
Possesses good interpersonal skills and a positive working attitude.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; owns transport.
Fluency in Mandarin is preferred to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients.
At least 3 years of experience in conveyancing.
CONVEYANCING CLERKAt least 3 years of experience in handling conveyancing sub-sale files.
Familiar with loan documentation for panel banks such as CIMB, PBB, UOB, RHB, and OCBC.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu (Mandarin is an advantage).
Able to complete tasks within given timelines with minimal supervision.
PUPILLAGEQualified under the Legal Profession Act to commence pupillage.
Multi-tasker with a commitment to learning.
Strong work ethic and a positive working attitude.
Skilled in legal research and drafting simple writs.
