Job Description:
LEGAL ASSOCIATE - CONVEYANCING
1) Assist the real estate partner in providing legal advice and guidance to clients on a range of real estate matters, including tenancy, leasing, sale and purchase agreements, financing agreements, and transfer of title.
2) Draft legal documents such as tenancy agreements, sale and purchase agreements, financing agreements, and transfer of title documents.
3) Conduct legal research and analysis to support the real estate partner in providing legal advice to clients.
4) Communicate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed and up-to-date on the status of legal matters.
5) Work with the real estate partner and other team members to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and ensure the efficient delivery of legal services.
6) Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations, as well as industry trends and best practices.
LEGAL ASSOCIATE - LITIGATION
1) Ability to handle and conduct general litigation work.
2) Has command of handling litigation cases concerning Notice of Demand, Judgement In Default, Judgement Debtor Summon, Writ of Seizure and Sale, Warrant of Arrest, Winding Up, Garnishee, Letter of Administration, Probate, Contested Case, and Error & inconsistencies detection in court proceeding papers.
3) Conducting research and drafting legal documents.
4) Providing legal advice to clients on litigation matters.
5) Assisting partner-lawyers in managing cases.
6) Guiding junior-lawyers in developing their legal skillset in litigation.
LEGAL EXECUTIVE - CONVEYANCING
1) Assist Conveyancing Lawyers in managing files, drafting legal documents, and conducting legal research.
2) Liaise with clients, banks, government agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate transactions.
3) Manage and maintain file records, ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
4) Prepare and review legal documentation such as Sale and Purchase Agreements, Financing Agreements, and other legal documents.
5) Handle post-completion procedures, including registration of titles and charges, transfer of utilities, and payments of duties and fees.
6) Provide legal advisory to clients and other stakeholders.
LEGAL EXECUTIVE - LITIGATION
1) Assist lawyer with documentation production including organizing, formatting and proofreading legal documents.
2) Prepare file and serve court documents, pleadings, motion, and correspondence.
3) Maintain accurate and organized case files, including electronic and physical files.
4) Provide administrative support, including answering phones, data entry and copying.
5) Assist with trial preparation and attend trials as necessary.
6) Perform other duties assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
LEGAL ASSOCIATE - CONVEYANCING
1) Bachelor of Laws degree from accredited university.
2) Admitted to the Malaysian Bar.
3) At least 3 years of experience in litigation.
4) Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
LEGAL EXECUTIVE - CONVEYANCING
1) Diploma or degree in Law or related field.
2) At least 3-5 years of experience as a Conveyancing Clerk or related legal support role.
3) Strong knowledge of conveyancing law and procedures in Malaysia.
4) Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software programs.
5) Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
6) Good time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
LEGAL EXECUTIVE - LITIGATION
1) Minimum SPM, Diploma or degree preferred.
2) At least 3-5 years of experience as a Litigation Clerk or related legal support role.
3) Familiar with Juris & Court's e-filing.
4) Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software programs.
5) Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
6) Good time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
