Corporate Commercial Lawyer

We are looking for a Corporate Commercial Lawyer to oversee and manage the legal aspects of our business operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements in relation to property and real estate industry. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of corporate law, with the ability to handle complex legal matters, contracts, and transactions.
Provide legal advice and counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and business law matters.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, policies, and other legal documents.Handle mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other business transactions.Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate policies.Liaise with external legal counsel as needed and manage relationships with regulatory authorities.Monitor legal developments affecting the business and provide proactive advice on risk management.Represent the company in legal proceedings, if necessary.Carry out any other job tasks/ assignments as and when requested by Senior Management, Department Head or direct superior. Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent). Minimum of three to four years of experience in corporate and commercial laws, preferably within a corporate or law firm environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Required language(s): Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia.
