Oversee media relations efforts, including building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists and media outlets to secure positive coverage for the company.
Coordinate crisis communication strategies to manage and mitigate reputational risks effectively.
Support the planning and execution of corporate events and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels and develop communication guidelines for the organization.
Monitor and analyze media coverage and public perception of the company, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with internal departments to align corporate communication strategies with business objectives and initiatives.
Supervise and mentor junior communication staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.
Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Strong media relations experience with established contacts in the media industry.
Experience in crisis communication and reputational management.
Ability to work collaboratively across functions and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Highly organized with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
