The Department of Corporate Finance has been actively involved in insolvency practice since 2007 whilst our Partners have over 15 years of practice in the area of insolvency.
This is a contract position (12 months). Candidates who meet the minimum requirement and senior candidates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities: Draft correspondences, reports, presentations and attend to statutory meetings Handling administrative and management of cash books and accounts of companies under liquidation and/or receivership Attend client meetings & creditors meetings Conducting company searches and lodgements of documents/forms with SSM Ensure compliance of legal formalities are adhered to with regards to companies under liquidation and/or receivership - advertisements, gazettes, liaising with insolvency department, etc Requirements: Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) /Accounting/Finance or equivalent At least 3 years of experience in the field of insolvency/liquidation work Strong understanding of corporate law, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, contract law, and regulatory compliance and corporate governance principles. Familiar with SSM, LHDN, Insolvency compliance, accounting standards, tax laws, and filling procedure. Ability to work independently and is a collaborative team player with attention to detail Ethical and committed to client confidentiality. Good written and verbal communication skills (English & Bahasa Malaysia) Able to work long hours and travel when required Able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
